Easy Reading of Automatically Generated Texts (Master's Thesis)

- Implemented a natural language processing (NLP) system using Python 3, Django, and spaCy/NLTK to automatically adapt texts for people with cognitive disabilities, following the Easy Reading Methodology guidelines.
- Developed methods and software to replace numbers written in letters with digits, simplify large numbers, replace percentages and fractions with more easily understood words, and eliminate complexity in sentences by removing parentheses.
- Built a web application using Django that follows the Easy Reading Methodology’s requirements to improve accessibility.

Style Transfer Between Photographs (Bachelor's Thesis)
January 2020
- Developed an algorithm using MATLAB to transfer the style of one photograph to another with a focus on landscape photographs, later expanding to include sepia, color, and black and white.
- Extended the application to include the transfer of styles between portraits, including not only style transfer but also background transfer from one image to another.
